Privacy Policy
Last updated October 11, 2026
This explains what Edge Room collects, why, who helps us handle it, and the controls you have. We don't sell your data and we don't run advertising trackers.
What we collect
Account: your email address and a password (stored as a hash by our sign-in provider, never readable by us).
What you add: bets you log or import from a slip image, your bankroll and unit size, Advisor chat messages, your watchlist, notification settings, feedback you send, and, if you use the creator tools, your creator profile and the picks you post to the public record.
Devices: if you turn on push notifications, the address your browser or phone gives us to deliver them.
Usage: counters such as how many Advisor questions you asked today (to apply daily limits), and error logs. Public pages count visits per day by rough source (for example X or direct) without storing your IP address, device details or any visitor identity.
Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, your email, what you said you do, and where you came from. Nothing else about you.
How we use it
To run the app and show you your own data, send the alerts you chose, enforce plan limits, grade bets, keep the service secure, and answer your messages. We send service emails (sign-in, invitations) and, if you joined the waitlist, the waitlist series, each with an unsubscribe link.
Who helps us run Edge Room
We use service providers who handle data on our behalf: Supabase (database, sign-in and file storage), Cloudflare (hosting), Resend (email) and Anthropic (the Claude AI behind the Advisor and bet-slip reading, which receives the text or image you submit for that request). Creator tools may also use Postiz and ElevenLabs when the owner schedules posts or voiceovers; they receive the content of those posts, not your private bets. When paid plans start, a payment provider will handle your payment details; we will not store your card number.
We may disclose information if the law requires it or to protect the service and its users.
What we do not do
We don't sell or rent your personal information, we don't use it for advertising, and we don't share your bets or bankroll with other members. Your bets are visible to you only.
Cookies and local storage
We use your browser's storage to keep you signed in and to remember small preferences such as a dismissed notice. We don't use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies.
Keeping and deleting your data
You can download a copy of your data and delete your account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your bets, bankroll, Advisor chat, watchlist, settings, devices, feedback and uploaded slip images. Backups held by our database provider can take some time to roll off.
Picks you posted to the public record are not removed, because the record cannot be edited after the fact. They remain visible with your handle and the account marked closed; your name and social handles are cleared. Please don't post anything to the record you would not want to stay public.
Waitlist emails can be removed with the unsubscribe link in any email, or by writing to us.
If you subscribe to a paid plan, we keep a record of your consent to the subscription terms (the text you agreed to, the plan and the time) for as long as the law asks sellers to keep it, even after you delete your account.
Security
Your data is protected by access rules in the database, encrypted connections, and server-side checks. No system is perfectly secure; tell us right away if you notice anything wrong.
Age
Edge Room is for adults 21 and over. We don't knowingly collect information from anyone younger.
Your choices and contact
Depending on where you live you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information. Most of that you can do yourself in Settings; for anything else write to hello@edgeroom.io and we will answer.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way we will tell you in the app or by email.
