Edge Room

Responsible gambling

Betting should be entertainment, not a way to make a living or to fix money problems. Edge Room is research; it can't make a bet safe.

If gambling is a problem for you or someone you know

In the United States, call or text 1-800-GAMBLER (1-800-426-2537) any time, free and confidential. You can also chat at ncpgambling.org. Outside the US, look for your country's problem-gambling helpline.

Ground rules that help

Bet only money you can afford to lose, and decide your limit before you start. Treat every stake as spent.

Never chase losses, and never bet to pay a bill. A hot or cold week tells you little: results are noisy, and a model's edge, if it has one, is small.

Take a break if betting stops being fun, if you are hiding it, or if you are betting more than you planned. Sportsbooks offer deposit limits, time-outs and self-exclusion; use them.

What Edge Room does and doesn't do

Edge Room shows its record openly, including losses, and labels unproven picks as shadow mode. It won't tell you what to bet with your own money, and every pick is a probability, not a promise. The app also doesn't offer self-exclusion; use your sportsbook's tools for that.

You must be 21 or older to use Edge Room.
